CISD Family Survey-Deadline Extended
CISD is currently surveying our families in order to gain insight into your perception of our schools and district effectiveness. This survey shouldn't take more than a few minutes to complete and will be a valuable source of information for us, as we work to make our schools and our district the best they can be. You may complete the survey online between now and November 22nd, using a computer, tablet or smartphone. To take the survey, please visit http://surveys.panoramaed.com, then select your child(ren)'s school. If you have multiple children in CISD, we ask that you take the survey for each school your child attends.

What are we learning?

Math: In math this week, learners will continue to apply our knowledge and strategies from two-digit subtraction to three-digit numbers and solve word problems by subtraction. Practice pages may be found here.

Language Arts: In reading, learners will continue reading nonfiction texts and dig deeper into finding topics and subtopics in their books. They will learn how to read about one topic across texts.  In writing, learners will finish editing and publish one of their nonfiction writing pieces for our Writers' Celebration on Friday.

Science: In science, learners will trace the changes in the position of an object over time such as a cup rolling on the floor and a car rolling down a ramp.

Social Studies: In social studies, learners will discuss their family's cultural celebrations, and we will begin to research various holidays around the world.
