Zoom
Many learners who originally went through the process of linking their Zoom account to their CISD credentials have been booted out. Please go through the outlined steps below to log out and re-login to zoom on your learner's iPad. The process of being logged in through guest is going away and your learner will need to follow these steps to log in to Zoom lessons and class meetings.

Schoology Calendar
Please refer to your child's Schoology calendar for dates and times of LIVE lessons each week! This will be where we are posting Live Lesson times in place of continually updating the week at a glance. We encourage learners to use the Schoology message tool to reach out directly to their teacher if they have a question about their learning.

What are we learning?

Math: This week learners will begin to add and subtract two-digit numbers using mental strategies and algorithms. Learners will solve word problems involving addition and subtraction within 100 using strategies based on place value.

Language Arts: In Reading Workshop we will begin our unit on nonfiction. Readers will grow their know knowledge by paying attention to details and asking questions about the text. Please remember to keep up with your Reading Logs!

In Writing Workshop we will launch the big work of nonfiction writing. We will learn from experts: noticing, naming, and try out craft moves!

Science: This week learners will continue to utilize their knowledge of how different objects combined together can do things they cannot do by themselves. Learners will be given a problem involving physical objects, then design a solution that involves an experiment to test and gather data.

Social Studies: In Social Studies we will continue our Government unit by exploring the roles of public officials.
