Announcements

Reminders from your Second Grade Teachers

*iPads - Please remember to send your child's iPad each day to school fully charged.

*Headphones - Please check with your child that they have working headphones/earbuds at school. Learners have many times when they are watching a video or can listen to directions and/or books and apps that need audio. Thank you so much for your help with this!

*Snack - We have a short snack time each day. It is important that they have a healthy and nutritious snack each day to fuel their bodies. We also ask that the snack you send be completely free of peanuts/tree nuts. This will help provide a safe environment for all learners.

Dallas Zoo Field Trip

Wednesday, March 30th, your child brought home an information letter and permission slip for our upcoming field trip to the Dallas Zoo. We will be going on our field trip on Thursday, May 5th, and would love to have as many chaperones as possible. If you are planning on chaperoning, please remember that younger siblings are not able to attend the field trip with us. If you have any questions, please reach out to your teacher. Permission slips and the $10 zoo admission and transportation fee for all learners are due Friday, April 8th. Please reach out to your child's homeroom teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
