Boosterthon Fun Run

As we get closer to our Fun Run, make sure to register online at mybooster.com. It is free to register your child(ren) and for them to participate in the fun run on October 21st. We’ve set a school goal to earn $15,000 for our school to be used for classroom grants that fun instructional materials and experiences. Our school-wide incentive for meeting our goal is a dunking booth for our administrators! The top three individual earners will get to dunk Ms. Martin and Mrs. Heingartner, along with the teacher of the class that has the highest average earned per child (due to varying class sizes). We’d love your help in meeting our $15,000 goal.

Report Cards

Report cards for Kinder-3rd grade learners are emailed to parents directly and should be received by the end of the day today. If you do not receive your report card by Monday, please contact your child's homeroom teacher. You can also access your child's report card by logging into the Home Access Center HAC. Once logged in, you will click on the picture/word that says "Grades". Once you click on "Grades" you will see a tab labeled "Report Card".

If you would like more clarification for what each standard means and what it looks like for your child to met standard, approach standard, and make insignificant progress towards standard please check out the CISD standards-based report card rubrics found here. Please note that every nine weeks the same standard may be reported on but the rigor and expectations increase from nine weeks to nine weeks. Please reach out to your child's teacher(s) if you have any questions or would like clarification regarding their report card.

We would love your help in making sure your child's iPad is set up for success when it comes to learning in the classroom. As our virtual learners have returned to the classroom we wanted to share this helpful list for all of our second graders. You can find the list of CISD Learner iPad Suggestions (linked here) to set your child's iPad up for success. As a reminder, we do not have additional charges at school.
