TCE Top Texans

These learners are chosen based on a citizenship quality teachers have seen in them throughout the entire nine weeks. Congratulations to our 2nd grade Top Texans from the first nine weeks!

TCE Color Run

Town Center Color Run - October 20th, 5:30-7:00 PM - A Note From PTO

It's time for our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Color Run! Funds raised will pay for the classroom grants we fund in November, field trip buses, Field Day, and Teacher Appreciation Week. Here are the details:

The fundraiser runs from October 2-20. Every TCE student will receive a free Color Run shirt and be able to participate in the run on October 20 at no cost. Any parents and/or non-TCE kids who would like to participate can register to run for $20 by clicking here. If you register to run by October 4, you will get a Color Run shirt. Registrations after the 4th will not receive a shirt.

Each class has created a goal/rewards chart for donations that come in under their name/class. Watch for your child's chart in their teacher's weekly blog. The more the class raises, the more rewards the class enjoys together! You can donate online at www.towncenterpto.org or send cash or a check (payable to TCE PTO) in an envelope with your child's grade and teacher. Registering family members counts towards the class donation. Make sure to send out the donation link to grandparents and anyone who would like to donate. We began taking donations on Monday, Oct. 2.

The classes will earn their rewards together, as a team, but the top two earners in each grade will be recognized and get to start their grade's run first.

Pizza can be preordered here starting Oct. 2. Drinks and frozen treats can be purchased at the run.

If you have any questions, you can email Heather Thurgood at president@towncenterpto.org.

Book Character Pumpkin Extravaganza

A Note from Mrs. Mancuso: It's that time of year! Fall leaves, cool air (I hope), and PUMPKINS! The TCE Library presents the Book Character Pumpkin Extravaganza! Your child or family can decorate a pumpkin as a book character. Please NO CARVED pumpkins. You may decorate, paint, glue, etc a real or fake pumpkin to look like a character from a book. Please include a paper or index card with your child's name, class, character's name, and book title. Pumpkins may be dropped off in the library anytime through October 27th and will be sent home on October 30th. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Mancuso at kmancuso@coppellisd.com.

Thanksgiving Baskets

Dear Parents/Guardians,

St. Ann’s Catholic Parish is once again sponsoring Thanksgiving basket deliveries (or a pickup option at St Ann’s Church if you prefer). This program provides families in need with a complete Thanksgiving dinner for the entire family. The baskets will be delivered to your home the weekend before Thanksgiving, so it is important that an adult representing the family be at the home between the hours of Noon and 4PM on Sunday, November 19th, 2023. The deadline to sign up for a basket is October 20th, 2023.

Please completely fill out the following form by clicking this link: 2023 St. Ann's Thanksgiving Baskets. You may contact Nurse Crenshaw with any questions at kcrenshaw@coppellisd.com or 214-496-7816.
