Announcements

Must Read - Announcements

  • Family Lunch Fridays - Starting Oct. 14th, parents will be allowed to come to eat lunch with their children on Fridays. You can turn in a written note to get clearance for a non-parent adult to have lunch with your child. Parents/visitors will sit at a designated table. Your child will not be able to ask friends to join them. Any questions can be answered by Laura Fairchild or Sherri Kingsley in the front office.
  • Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences: A message was sent out on Friday, Sept. 23rd in ParentSquare for information on parent-teacher conferences. The afternoon of Thursday, Oct. 6th, and the morning of Friday, Oct. 7th are set aside for face-to-face conferences at TCE. If you need a virtual conference you can reach out to your homeroom teacher and they will send you a link to the virtual conference sign-ups. We have set aside the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 7th for virtual conferences.
  • Snack - 2nd grade has a short snack time each morning to keep our brains and bodies fueled for learning. It is a long time between breakfast and our lunch at noon each day. Please help us in sending ONE (1) small, healthy snack each day. We have many learners bringing a small meal or multiple snacks, which causes many messes to clean up and is unable to be eaten in the time allotted for snack each day. Additionally, we ask that you save juice boxes and flavored waters for lunchtime. We only allow water in the classroom, so the carpet does not stain if any spills happen. Thank you!

Town Center Color Run

Mark your calendars for the Town Center Color Run!

October 14th 5:30-7:00 p.m. Town Center Elementary

This is our PTO's big fundraiser for the year, so please plan to join us. The fundraiser will run from Oct. 3rd through Oct. 14th, ending with the Color Run.

Here's how the fundraiser will work:

  • All TCE students will be given a free Color Run shirt and be able to be a part of the run at no cost. Parents that want to participate in the run can register at www.tcepto.com for $20.00. You must register by this Tuesday, Sept. 27th to get a shirt.
  • Each class will create a donation goal chart with donation amounts and the rewards the class gets when they reach those amounts. Be on the lookout for your child's class donation goal chart in the coming weeks.
  • Donations can be made online at www.tcepto.com, or students can bring in cash or a check (payable to TCE PTO). Make sure the donations are marked with your student's name and teacher so that it's added to their class total. Send our donation link to family and friends that would be interested in donating.
Donations from this fundraiser will go to fund Field Day, buses for field trips, Teacher Appreciation Week, and classroom grants that provide materials and resources for our students to use.
